The new football season has arrived and the South-West Peninsula League is ready.

Axminster Town begin their journey for 2022/23 with a home game against Torrington on Saturday, kick-off 3pm, while in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round, there is a fascinating clash between Tavistock and Brixham.

The SWPL season gets underway for Honiton Town on Tuesday, August 9, when they will make the journey to league newcomers Bridport. The Tigers of Axminster continue their league season the following night with a short trip to Cullompton Rangers. The second weekend of the season will take Honiton to Elburton Villa and Axminster travel to Bovey Tracey.

Honiton Town Reserves have sadly pulled out of the Joma Devon & Exeter League due to a number of players leaving for a new challenge. This will be the first time in 70 years the Hippos have not been represented in the League.
