Axe Valley student Coalter keeps clean sheet for Devon Girls Under-18s

Axe Valley sixth form student Susie Coalter was part of the Devon Women’s Under-18 side that comprehensively beat Gloucestershire.

Coalter kept goal and was fully deserving of the clean sheet she bagged.

The teenager said: “It was amazing and such an honour to be playing for Devon, but it was also quite nerve racking. I was really proud to keep a clean sheet.”

Next up for both Coalter and the County side is a November 28 home meeting with Somerset.”

Coalter, who was presented with a medal by the Devon FA chairman after the Gloucestershire win says: “I am hoping for another win and another clean sheet!”
