Axminster Town are all set for a big night on and off the Tiger Way turf on Friday evening (July 27).

The Tigers, who are entertaining Western League side Bridport (7.30pm), are also staging their big kit sponsors draw during the half-time interval.

Making the draw will be Steve Perryman MBE, a legend of Tottenham Hotspur and, until recently, the director of football at Exeter City.

Perryman will make the half-time draw that will determine which local company will have their name on the Tigers’ shirts next season. There are three prizes up for grabs with the top one being the main front-of-shirt sponsorship, the second prize is to be the name on the back of the shirts and the third prize will see that company name on the shorts.

The game against Bridport is being followed by live music in the Tigers’ clubhouse with classic rock played courtesy of The Perfect Strangers.

Admission to all the Tigers’ pre-season games is £2 and they are back in action on Saturday week (August 4) with an attractive looking fixture against South West Peninsula League Premier Division outfit St Blazey.
