Axminster Town were without a game last weekend.

This Saturday the Tigers have as tough an engagement as they could face when they entertain title chasing Liverton United at Sector Lane (3pm).

When Ray Self’s side last took to the pitch they were so unfortunate not to bring something back from their visit to Stoke Gabriel.

Self knows the Liverton visit is going to be a very tough game for his side.

He said: “They are the top team this season and have a lot of talent in their ranks. That said we really put a great collective effort into our game at Stoke Gabriel and if we can repeat that sort of level of performance we may well surprise the visitors on Saturday.”
