Axminster Town won were 3-1 winners in their Tuesday night South West Peninusla League Eastern Division home meeting with Waldon Athletic.

Tony Pinder, Luke Finn and Glen Gould scored the goals that saw the Tigers to another three points.

The win, an eighth in 14 league outings to date, sees Town into the top six of the table and they are now just three points off third placed Bovey Tracey.

Next up for the Tigers is a Saturday (November 3) league meeting with Ilfracombe Town (3pm).

With the first Saturday of the month being predominantly a county cup match day, the Tigers are the only club staging a game and victory over eighth placed Ilfracombe would see Town sitting joint third on Saturday evening.
