Axmouth United prepare for big promotion game at Lords XI

Axmouth United were without a game on the final Saturday of February.

Their bid for a top three finish and with it promotion to Division Four was boosted by leaders Exmouth Town Reserves drawing with Heavitree Social whilst Newtown Third lost.

This Saturday United have a crucial match at Lords XI who are one of their main rivals for one of those coveted promotion places.

Indeed, with home games to follow against side’s in the bottom half of the table there’s plenty of reason for United followers to be optimistic about their side’s chances – but they do need three points at Lords XI on the first Saturday of March!
