Beer Albion all set for visit to title-chasing St Martins

Beer’s home match on the first Saturday of the new year fell foul of the weather and they make a belated start to their 2014 programme with a trip this weekend to title chasing St Martins.

The next six outings for the Fishermen see them with a mixed bag of opposition.

The week after the trip to St Martin’s they visit basement side Clyst Valley.

Beer currently sit fourth bottom, a point clear of the three sides occupying relegation berths.

They are just two points shy of a cluster of five clubs immediately above them in the top flight table.

After the trip to Clyst Valley they host Budleigh Salterton Reserves then play a swift return with Clyst Valley before a trip to Topsham Town on February 15.
