Central 3, Seaton Town 7

Seaton Town Under-13s were excellent value for this high scoring victory against the table topping hosts in Exeter.

In a powerful first half show Town scored four unanswered goals to have the game effectively won by half-time. Cody Bowditch led the scoring honours with a hat-trick before the break and the other Town scorer in the first period was Ollie Caute.

After the break the home side came back strongly and at one stage trailed just 5-3, but two further Town goals gave the hosts too much to do. Caute and Will House netted second half goals.

Ollie Browne was named the Ton Man of the Match. Manager Tony Bartlett said: “Our first half display was full of energy, excellent passing and control, and a real application to play with flair and enjoyment. The second half was different in that Central seemed to find another gear

and really put some pressure on our defence. I was really pleased with our attitude and belief today.”

The win lifts Seaton to fourth in the table with their sights firmly on a top three berth.
