Frank Rosenwald, a Year 12 student at Colyton Grammar School, has been chosen for the England Schoolboys' under-18 team after attending a series of regional and national trials, writes Ben Leahy.

Frank (17), a player in Exeter City’s youth side, travelled to the prestigious Lilleshall National Sports Centre, the former Football Association headquarters, for the final trial which was overseen by FA coaches.

Frank’s first match is on February 4, against Australia Schoolboys in Stafford.

Frank commented: “It’s all I can think about at the moment. I just can’t wait to step out onto the pitch and represent my country.”
