Colyton Red Socks moved confidently to the top of the Exeter and District Youth League Under-12 Division Two table with a confident all-round display that saw them beat Sidmouth Raiders 5-1.

Freddie Andrews scored twice as Red Socks claimed a 12th win of the season. Jacob Hale, Thomas Lambert and Johndrick Gangoso, also netted for the home side who have now scored four or more goals in 12 of their 18 league outings this season. Coach Paul Cox said: “The team are playing well right now. We have a two point lead, but West Exe, who we’ve beaten twice, do have a couple of games in hand. All we can do is keep winning our games and see where that leaves us at the season’s end.”
