Combe St Nicholas Ladies (otherwise known as Combe Ladies) formed two years ago, becoming the first female team to play at the club, writes Kim Cook.

After a couple of successful season culminating in the winning of the Chairman’s Cup last season they now need new players to bolster their squad for the coming season.

Combe are primarily looking for players from in and around the Chard area but welcome those from further afield, with some current players coming from Langport, Bridgwater and Yeovil!

The team are currently playing their matches at Slades Cross, Combe St Nicholas TA20 3HQ and have training there once a week on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Full pre-season training begins on Tuesday, July 28. For more information please contact Kim Cook on 07977 141503 or email her at kimberoo@hotmail.co.uk
