Offwell Rangers were comprehensive 8-2 winners when they hosted Bradninch in a Fresha League Division Seven meeting.

Rangers had beaten the Mid Devon team 10-0 just a fortnight ago and this encounter would have yielded many more goals but for an exceptional performance by the visiting goalkeeper.

Steve Curry led the scoring honours with a hat-trick and there was a brace from Paul Dudley as well as single goals from Tom Cligg, Dean Thomas and Jake Phillips.

Rangers boss Scott Phillips said: “The team played well and but for their glovesman I fancy we’d have netted 20 plus!”

Sam Farmer was named the Man of the Match by matchday sponsors J Phillips Construction.
