Millwey Rise Under-7s were crowned champions at the Exeter City 6-a-side tournament held at Acland Park, Feniton.

The team made a slow start to the tournament, losing their opening group game.

However, they bounced back and won all three of their other group games.

They bagged a 2-0 semi-final victory to book a final berth against Pink Panthers.

It had been the Panthers who had edged out Millwey in the opening group game, but Millwey gained their revenge thanks to a 2-0 triumph.

The deadlock in a close encounter was broken when Tyler Dibling broke away from defence and slipped a neat pass to Noah al-Sedani who showed the last defender a clean pair of heels before rifling the ball past the keeper.

The same pair combined to seal victory with Noah al-Sedani providing the assist for young Dibling to seal victory.
