Dunkeswell bagged themselves a Golesworthy Cup final berth with a fine all-round show that was good enough to defeat Otterton 4-0.

What makes the Dunks success all then more praise worthy is that Otterton have just finished the Fresha league season fourth in the division above the one that the Dunks play in!

In a bright start to the game the Dunks clearly had a game plan to not allow Otterton to settle and it was no surprise when Jacob White headed them ahead from an early corner.

It was only some bad luck in front of goals and the denial of what looked a good case for a penalty that saw the first half end just 1-0 in the Dunks favour.

There was more of the same from Dunkeswell in the second half and the lead was finally doubled when Ryan Pike was felled in the area and he picked himself up to slot away the resultant spot kick.

Two late goals from Charlie Stephenson sealed the Dunks place in the final which will see them meet either Beer Albion Reserves of Kentisbeare at Ottery St Mary on May 20.
