Feniton Flames u-10s 4, Colyton 4: Colyton travelled to Feniton on Sunday morning but there was a delayed start due to the weather.

They produced a very entertaining game.

Both teams matched each other for the opening 10 minutes, but Feniton scored first, then Colyton equalised about 12 minutes later when Jack Farrant scored from a corner.

Colyton put together a good passing move but just shot wide of the goal. Flames took their chances well and at half time it was 3-1 to Feniton.

In the second half, Colyton spirits were lifted with a well-taken goal from Kieran McCann.

Feniton restored their two-goal lead but Colyton showed great courage to get themselves back into the game with a goal from Finley McLean, who also shot just wide. Becky Griffiths narrowly missed and Billy Long put a free kick just over the bar.

With time running out, Kieran managed to score his second goal, so the match finished in a 4-4 draw - a fair result for both teams.

James Overton had a very good game in the Colyton goal making some very finesaves.

Greg Lamprill, in the midfield, and Logan Black, in defence, both worked very well.

It was a good team performance.
