Exmouth Town's Southern Road home will play host to a special fixture next month.

Town's ground will see the playing of the Falklands Cup - a match that is played annually to mark the conflict in the Falklands and raise funds for the Royal Marines charity and the Parachute Regiment Charity.

The match will take place at Southern Road on Wednesday, July 31 with a 7pm kick-off.

Town actually have two players who have taken part in the fixture previously.

Dan Boere played, and scored in the 2007 Falklands Cup fixture and, in 2012, Karl Rickard played in the match.

Entry to the match will be free and, on the night, the club will be open from 6pm.

It is hoped that plenty of the local community will get along to Southern Road to support this match.
