Fair play to Feniton ladies

At the annual League presentation evening Feniton Ladies Football Club were awarded the Westward Developments Devon Women's League Fair Play Trophy.

At the annual League presentation evening Feniton Ladies Football Club were awarded the Westward Developments Devon Women's League Fair Play Trophy. This trophy is awarded to the team who maintain the spirit offair play during the season and is not only a reflection of on the fieldbehaviour but the club's facilities and hospitality in general. Themarks are awarded by match day officials and it is the second such award the Feniton Ladies have collected. The Ladies have been awarded the FA Standard Chartered Club status and are looking to provide football for all girls over the age of 15 years. Due to the re alignment of the ladies' game with the male game, all girls must be over 16 years of age to play in open age matches.If you are interested in playing football on a regular basis thenpre-season training starts on Thursday, July 10, and runs everyThursday night at Feniton 6.30-8pm.For more information on the team please go to the Feniton club's website at www.fenitonfc.co.uk or call the team secretary, Di Phillips on01404 850589.
