Archant

Feniton switched their Macron League top flight meeting with Exmouth Town Reserves to Acland Park and banked what is a vital point in their bid to get away from the bottom three.

Fenny bossed large periods of the game, but found the visiting goalkeeper to be in stunning form.

Elliot Dyer fired Feniton into the lead and, with the evergreen Adrian Pullin between their posts, making a number of smart saves, they looked good value to go on and take all three points until Exmouth Town struck to ensure a sharing of the spoils.

The point lifts Fenny six points clear of third bottom Hatherleigh who have played three games fewer.

Feniton’s Easter Monday home game was one of many washed out and they are next in action on Saturday (April 7) when they host Seaton Town in a game that looks crucial to both sides’ hopes of avoiding a bottom three slot.
