Feniton youngsters help Warriors to cup win

Feniton footballers Jamie Pitter and Finn Upsher have been celebrating after winning the Exeter and District Youth League Under- 9s Cup with their Sidmouth Warriors team mates.

Both boys, pupils at Feniton Primary School, were part of the Sidmouth team that won the cup, playing at the St James park home of Exeter City.

Warriors beat Millwey Rise 3-1 in the Final courtesy of a Pitter hat-trick and determined defending by Sidmouth.

Young Pitter, who lives in Escot, headed Warriors into a half-time lead whilst Upsher played his part with some resolute defending.

Millwey Rise levelled early in the second half, but Pitter tucked away a penalty to restore the warriors lead before settling the issue with his hat-trick goal.
