Crediton Youth 1, Honiton Devils 2

Honiton Under-10 Devils were good value for a narrow victory on their visit to Mid Devon.

They made a confident start with a changed formation as coach Sean Brown gave players the opportunity to try new positions. River Leisk got the keepers berth and was not tested in the early exchanges.

Zac Harrison orchestrated tings from central midfield and the lead was taken with Jordan Harrison finding Domini McCreadie who in turn set up Hayden Owen to fire home. The hosts levelled before the half-time whistle blew.

After the break the introduction of Sam Foster, Connor Brown and Luke Matthews was instrumental in Devils taking control. Sam Foster created space for himself before netting from the edge of the area. The final five minutes saw Devils close the game out very confidently. Zac Harrison, skipper for the game, led by example with an energetic display.
