Honiton Town Under-15s were too strong for a brave Milwey Rise side in a one-sided East Devon Youth League game.

Strong wind and heavy rain made conditions difficult for both sets of players and the second half saw the surface become very slippery.

Harry Taylor fired Town into an early lead and five more goals were scored to see Town into the break with a 6-0 lead.

After the break Tom Olive took over in goal with Jake Sellick getting an outfield position from which he scored one of the six second half goals, his first of the season.

Both teams continued to give their all to the final whistle.

Blake Freemantle took the scoring honours with six. Tom Olive bagged a brace and other goals were scored by Harry Taylor, Matt Ayres, Jake Sellick and Ben Nursey.
