Fresha League champions Feniton report back for another pre-season

Fresha League champions Feniton launch their pre-season schedule tomorrow night (Thursday, July 11).

It’s a 6,45pm start at Acland Park for all old and prospective new players for the Blues this coming season.

The club are looking to recruit some new players after a couple of their higher profile players have been tempted away by offers from further up the football pyramid.

Charlie Selley and Paul Dowling are thought to be trying their luck with Toolstation League Premier outfit Willand Rovers.

Blues boss Mark Kingdon says: “It’s a blow to lose players of that quality, but life goes on. It is disappointing that we could not keep last years squad together to have another crack at winning a second successive Fresha title for that would have been some feat. That said we are an attractive proposition as a club and I am sure that there are players out there who would love to be part of what we have at Acland Park.”

Feniton really are a superbly run club with a very go-ahead and ambitious, but fiercely loyal, manager, and if players are wondering where to chance their skills this pre-season then they could do a lot worse than turn up at Acland Park!

The excellent Feniton website at offers the various contacts for club and team management.
