Gait and Nevell net as Seaton Under-9s win at Bradninch

Seaton Under-9s had mixed fortunes when they travelled to Mid Devon for their latest competitive matches.

First up they found themselves sup against a powerful Cullompton side who dished out a 6-0 beating.

Seaton, to their credit, never stopped battling and were unfortunate not to grab a few goals themselves.

Harvey Green did well in defence and Daniel Byrne produced a solid debut.

Next up they took on hosts Bradninch and beat them 2-0 playing tidy football with some excellent passing on show.

Man of the Match George Gait fired them ahead and, after Corbin Reel went close on a couple of occasions, Max Nevell sealed victory with a stunning strike from outside the area that whistled into the top corner.
