Gait brace

Seaton Under-11s were handsome winners when they took on Millwey Rise in an East Devon Youth League meeting.

Seaton began the game well with wingers Ben Driver and Kyle Williams impressing.

From a slick passing move Williams opened the scoring in the seventh minutes.

Joe Richardson, who delivered a series of excellent corners throughout the contest, swung one over in the 10th minute that Josh Tait headed home and a Jack White penalty was followed by a neat interchange between Driver and Tait that finished with the latter netting the sides fourth and final goal of the first half.

After the break Seaton changed their players around and Billy Gait was pushed further forward and responded with a brace of goals. Zac Hawkins also netted a second half double and other scores came from Lacey, Williams and an own goal.

The Seaton coaching staff were delighted on the day both with the teams’ performance and the wonderful support the boys got from the touchline.

The match day awards were; James Lacey received the Supporters Player of the Day whilst the Coaches Player of the Match award was won by Jack Moore.
