Colyton Under-12s were emphatic 13-0 winners in an East Devon Youth League match at Millwey.

Three goals inside the opening five minutes set the tone for a one-sided affair.

They scored six more to lead 9-0 at the interval.

Four further goals were scored in the second half.

Johndrick Gangoso led the scoring honours with four and both Thomas Lambert and Freddie Andrews netted hat-tricks. The other scorers were Cameron Board, Archie Clode and Giles Basson one each.

Giles nearly scored another when, despite being in goal, he set of upfield with a weaving run that ended with his shot beat the home keeper, but then be blocked by a Colyton team mate!

Matthew Turner made a good impression in his first competitive game, but all thoughts post match were with the unfortunate Aiden Newman who suffered a broken wrist during the warm up that needed hospital attention. All his team mates and the club management wish him a speedy recovery.
