Gangoso treble as Colyton Under-12s win top of the table clash at Seaton

Table-topping Colyton Under-12s proved too powerful for hosts Seaton’s when the pair met in a top-two East Devon Youth League clash.

Seaton made a flying start and scored a fine opening goal. Parity was swiftly restored when a slick counter involving Freddie Andrews and Rollo Squire ended with Archie Code scoring. A Johndrick Gangoso quick-fire double both goals set up by Thomas Lambert, put Colyton in charge before Gangoso completed another hat-trick with his third goal owing much to the perfect through-ball played by Giles Basson. Jacob Hale, who did not start due to an injury in warm-up, came off the bench to provide an immediate assist to a Harry Williams goal to complete the scoring.

Colyton manager, Craig Board said: “I knew Seaton would give us a good game as they have improved greatly since last year. My players had to be at their best and I’m pleased how they came back from conceding an early goal. They all played their roles and deserved their victory”.
