OFFWELL Rangers Reserves entertained second from bottom Lapford in their latest Division Eight outing.

At half-time the sides were locked at 2-2 with both the Offwell goals scored by Vullnet Guri.

It was a second half change initiated by Rangers boss Alex McCreadie that turned the game in favour of the hosts with Andrew Lord introduced in the 70th minute.

Minutes after coming on the centre back ventured forward and nodded home a set-piece to put Rangers into the lead.

Jack Knight then doubled the lead and the last word was left to Ollie Cramer who struck the fifth and final goal to seal a 5-2 victory.

The Match sponsors, Exeter Window Stores, awarded the man of the Match went to Ollie Cramer.

Rangers are back in action tonight (Wednesday) with a home game against Lympstone and boss McCreadie says: “We’ll have to play a lot better than we did at times against Lapford to defeat the Lympets.”
