Honiton Town Under-10 Devils enjoyed double delight when they took on Copplestone Cobras and Crediton Youth.

First up against the Cobras they made a sluggish start and shipped an early goal! It was some neat inter-play involving Luke Matthews, Sam Foster and River Leisk that led to Connor Brown levelling and he scored again to put Devils 2-1 up. The home side levelled before a River Leisk goal sent Devils into the break with the lead.

A Sam Foster assist and a Haydon Owen goal made it 4-2 and even though the home side bagged a third, Devils, thanks to a pair of superb Dominic McCreadie Taylor saves, saw the game out.

Next up the Devils beat Crediton Youth 2-1 with many of the players adopting different roles to gain experience in different positions.

Zac Harrison, Jordan Harrison and Dominic McCreadie Taylor were involved in the build-up prior to Haydon Owen firing Devils into a fifth minute lead. The Mid Devon side levelled with a fine strike from 18-yards. The introduction of Sam Foster, Connor Brown and Luke Matthews was key to the game being won. Foster rifled Devils into a 2-1 lead after which the side, led superbly by a tireless contribution from Man of the Match Zac Harrison, saw the game out in some comfort.
