Honiton Devils Under-10s deservedly banked the points from this game.

Skipper-for-the-day Ewan Evans did a splendid job marshalling the back line Jai Freemantle whilst Zac Harrison and Luke Matthews bossed the midfield third which enabled Luke Matthews to linkup with strike pairing Dominic McCreadie-Taylor and Connor Brown.

The only goal of the game came inside the last ten minutes when a fine ball from Brown gave Harrison time and spec to unleash a fierce shot that flew into the net.

With River Leisk, Jordan Harrison and Haydon Owen all playing their part there was no way back for the Rhinos who were also thwarted a number of times by the excellent goal keeping of Devil’s gloves man Joe Evans.

Manager Sean Brown said: “The team played so well throughout. That’s our final league game so it’s case of saying a big well done, to all the boys for delivering us such a memorable season.”
