Honiton Devils Under-11s were 3-1 winners when they took on table-topping Twyford Spartans.

Devils made a flying start and River Leisk gave them a third minute lead.

A slick move involving Zac Harrison and Dominic McCreadie-Taylor ended with Sam Foster doubling the lead that Devils took into the interval.

After the break a confident Devils went three up with a fine goal as Hayden Owen and Lee Pulman combined prior to McCreadie-Taylor making it 3-0.

The home side struck back with a late consolation, but Devils were not to be denied a deserved victory.

Elliott Holdsworth was named the Devils Man of the Match.

Manager Sean Brown said; “It was such a pleasing team effort. Everybody played their part and we have beaten a very good side. What makes me so proud is that performances and results like this underline that the that the boys are listening and showing great attitude and determination which will stand us in great stead for what I expect to be a good season.”
