Honiton Troopers Under-9s were good value for a clean sheet derby victory.

Despite bossing most of the first half there was just a single goal, one that was netted by a home player, for Troopers to show for their efforts at half-time. At the break manager Dave Haysom shuffled the players positions around with Peter Osborne and Christopher Lucas paired as defenders.

Jess Spence and Harvey Haysom drove the team forward from the middle third and Bailey Williams joined Louie Stevens up front. Williams finished with a hat-trick and the other goal was scored by Louie Stevens who was also named as the Troopers’ Player of the Day.
