Honiton Primary School are the new Devon County schools football champions.

The youngsters saw off all-comers at the competition played at Otterton Fields.

Honiton entered two teams and the B side reached the semi-final of the Plate competition.

The A team went all the way to the main final which produced a 0-0 final score leaving the competition to be decided on penalties and the Honiton youngsters kept their nerve to win the shot-out!

The champion Honiton team consisted of Caleb Freeman in goal, Joby Mabbutt, Jack Patch, Ben Spence, Ben Crutchley-Davies, Connor Richards, Kai freestone, Finlay Keywood and Cody Tratt-skinner.
