Honiton Town Reserves are their own worst enemies in Otterton defeat

Honiton Town Reserves went down 5-1 to Otterton.

The game was a top-of-the-table Division Six clash.

Town manager John Lewis said: “We simply cannot keep giving away sloppy goals and missing chances. That said, losing influential skipper Joe Knight in the warm-up changed the way I wanted to set the team up. I felt that they (Otterton) were not four goals better than us on the day which is frustrating. However, sooner or later our luck will change.”

On Saturday Town Reserves entertain Stoke Hill (2.30pm).
