Honiton Town Reserves’ boss has half-time chat that ‘does the trick’!

Honiton Town Reserves were 3-1 winners when they entertained North Tawton in a Fresha League game.
What made the performance – and result – all the better was that Town went into the game having not played for four weeks! They fell behind, but parity was swiftly restored and they scored again to lead 2-1 at the break. Aaron Pearse and 16-year-old Charlie Freeman, netted the goals.
The second half action was ruined by the ever-increasing wind. Such was the strength of the wind that Town glovesman Dom Carswell hit the opposition crossbar with one of his up field punts!
A Blake Freemantle goal late on ensured victory for his side. The star performers on the day for Town were sixteen-year-old Mason Rhodes and George Hatherway, both making impressive debuts for the team. On Saturday Town Reserves travel to Bampton for a league game (2.15pm).
