Honiton Town Reserves completed their Fresha League Division Five season is style as they crushed Priory 8-0 at Mountbatten Park.

Owen Mccreadie-Taylor scored twice and there were single goals from Joe Dixon, Correy Couch , Louis Grant, Karl Allen, Ryan Dunn and Blake Freemantle.

Town second team boss John Lewis, who has now led the team to three successive promotions, said: “The lads went into the game knowing that a win would guarantee us a top two finish and they delivered in style!”

There remains a good chance that the Town Reserves could yet be crowned champions as the only team who can deny them a top spot finish are Fluxton who have one game to play and must win it to win the title.

That match is against a Sandford side that need a win themselves to bag a third place finish and promotion to the next level. The game takes place at Sandford on Saturday (April 25) and only a Flxuton victory will stop Honiton being able to celebrate a double title success in this terrific season for the Mountbatten Park club.
