Town Reserves were once again guilty of spurning a number of chances in a thrilling East Devon derby.

The home side had just a couple of shots at the Town goal from which they scored their one goal.

However, Town had at least a dozen opportunities to score more than the one that Kieran Conway scored.

Boss John Lewis said: “I am afraid that some of the lads have stopped doing the basics which was working so well for us at the start of the season. We will persevere and stick to a passing game. I see this current run as merely a ‘blip’, we’ll be back!”

On Saturday the side take on table topping Otterton.
