Town Reserves were well beaten by one of their Division Six promotion rivals.

A poor 15-minute first half spell proved to be Town’s downfall.

The second half saw an improved performance across the pitch by Town, but then damage had been done before the break!

Last season’s skipper Ben Welch and David Belsten made first starts for the team this season.

Boss John Lewis said: “Hopefully this result will be merely a blip. We have had a good season so far. The two new lads are going to be very useful additions and make us an even better side.”
