Honiton Town Reserves well under-par in Halwill defeat

Honiton Town Reserves were just as disappointing as the Mountbatten Park senior side had been when they entertained Halwill.

The Hippo’s second string went down 3-0 and boss John Lewis pulled no punches when he spoke the day after the game.

He said: “We were poor and didn’t create anything. It was, by some margin, our worst performance for a long, long time. There is only one thing to do in such circumstances and I will indeed ring the changes and expect to see a response next time out.”

Town travel to Winkleigh this Saturday (January 17).
