Honiton Town head into Saturday’s Mountbatten Park meeting with Westexe knowing that by winning their next three matches they will be crowned Fresha League Division One champions.

The Hippos follow the Westexe match with a Monday night trip to Wellington Town Reserves and then, next Saturday (April 25) they host Exwick Villa.

If Kev Blackwell’s team can bag a hat-trick of wins then they will be able top celebrate a sweet title success.

Also closing on Fresha League glory are Upottery. In their case they are hoping to secure the Fresha League Division Two top honour.

Like Honiton Town, the villagers also have three games to negotiate over the next seven days starting with a visit to Chulmleigh.

Upottery follow that with a midweek home game against Newtown and then, next Saturday (April 25) they host University who are their main rivals for the title.

A treble of victories for Upottery and they will then need just four more points to guarantee being crowned champions.
