Honiton Troopers Under-9s beaten by Heavitree Tigers

Heavitree Tigers 2, Honiton Troopers 0

Honiton Troopers Under-9s began the game slowly.

However, a more defensive formation saw them keep the Tigers at bay for long periods.

Trooper’s keeper Harvey Lee was assured with his handling in what were difficult, muddy conditions.

Jess Spence and Ben Motram again defended strongly, whilst Bailey Williams and Harvey Haysom worked hard in midfield to break up the Tigers possession and striker Peter Osborne was busy tucking back to help out the midfielders.

After a goal less first half the Exeter side took the lead straight from the restart!

Troopers responded well. Christopher Lucas did exceptionally well winning every tackle, but there was nothing he could, do about the Tigers’ second midway through the half to seal the home side a two-goal success.
