Feniton 4, Honiton Troopers 1

Honiton Troopers Under-9s started the game strongly and created several chances but were unable to open the scoring when they were dominating play.

Feniton struck first and soon doubled their lead.

Troopers then lost the influential Harvey Haysom to injury. After the break good work by the midfield led to Peter Osbourne driving into the Feniton half and scoring with a fine finish to halve the deficit.

However, it was Feniton who scored the next, all important goal, and the Troopers were unable to recover.

This was a much improved team display with Harvey Lee making several good saves while in midfield Lewis Clyburn and Bailey Williams were winning tackles and taking the play forward.
