Milwey Rise 6, Honiton Town 1

Honiton Town Troopers Under-9s were well beaten by a strong Milwey Rise side.

Troopers’ goalkeeper Harvey Lee was outstanding in the first half making a number of fine saves, but was powerless to keep out the two goals that gave Milwey Rise the half-time advantage. After the break Troopers continued defending with Jess Spence and Christopher Lucas both working hard for the team, but the slick Milwey outfit knocked home four more before Harvey Haysom broke down the left wing and when his pass found Bailey Williams he crossed for Lewis Clyburn to apply a crisp finish.
