Feniton Under-12s returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 4-3 midweek Exeter and District Youth League, Division Two win over Brixington Blues.

The game was played in appalling weather. Both teams found it difficult to pass and a number of goals came about as a result of the wind and lashing rain!

Two goals from Feniton’s play maker Tom Jeacock and one from top scorer Chris Badcott saw the home team into a 3-2 half-time lead.

Blues levelled after the re-start, but young Jeacock wrapped up the win and his hat-trick to seal victory.

As well as Jeacock goals special mention must be made of the contribution of Feniton’s talismanic Kellen Hamilton.
