Colyton Under-12s bagged a draw and a big win in two weekend matches.

On Saturday they drew 2-2 at Brixington Blues after leading 2-0.

Both Colyton goals were scored by Thomas Lambert, his second from a penalty awarded for a trip on Johndrick Gangoso. Brixington fought back and from a failed clearance they pulled one back.

The following day they thumped Lyme Regis 10-0 with goals from Fred Andrews (4), Thomas Lambert (3), Johndrick Gangoso, Harry Williams and Giles Basson.

Colyton boss Craig Board said: “I am so happy for the boys, we train hard in the pass and move game and today it paid off. The footwork was excellent especially from Giles (Basson) and the unselfish play to put in a colleague when they could have shot themselves was commendable. We knew Lyme would come at us and I never imagined we would get such a result, well done, boys!’
