Lane double as Honiton Town Reserves put right after the break what went wrong before it!

Halwill Reserves 2, Honiton Town Reserves 2

Town Reserves produced a performance of two very different halves in North Devon.

The first 45 minutes was one of the worst collectively of the season to date.

However a chat at the break about how to claw back the two-goal deficit worked wonders.

From the restart Town were superb. They showed plenty of gritty desire and determination and not only got back on level terms, but were unfortunate not to travel home with all three points.

Charlie Lane scored both the Town second half goals.

Boss John Lewis said: “This team are a very different outfit to the one relegated four seasons running. Sitting second in the table is no more than this honest bunch of players deserve. Long may it continue, and it will if they show more of that second half performance at Halwill.”
