Honiton Town 0, Twyford Madrid 3

Honiton Demons Under-10s began well with Lee Pulman and Ross Hurford playing well in midfield helping to create a number of good chances.

However, they found the visiting glovesman in inspired form. There was no score in the first half, but after the break the Tiverton side struck twice in the early exchanges and they added a third late on.

The Demons were unlucky to be one down and they pushed forward in the closing stages and let in two late goals and the game finished 3-nil.

Demons coach for the day Gary Osbourne said: “The score line did not reflect the game. I was very impressed with the whole teams efforts and hard work in both games. Each player clearly gave everything and it was the outstanding Freddie Richards in goal who rightly got Man of the Match. I also felt Harry Horn and Jake Mabbutt had great games.”
