Seaton Under-14s were involved in another goal fest, defeating Newton Knights 8-5.

Seaton struck early with Scott De Gache netting after a Rhys Phillips shot had been blocked. The visitors levelled, but Braidey Yeo swiftly restored the lead.

A powerful Reece McCabe strike made it 3-1 only for Newton Knights to hit back with their second. Just before the break McCabe used hi space to get clear of the last man to score again to send Seaton into the interval with a 4-2 lead.

Early in the second half McCabe completed his hat-trick and he then became provider for Edward Kenworthy to make it 6-2.

The fleet-footed visiting strike then struck twice to reduce the arrears, but two more McCabe goals took Seaton clear once more.

Newton Knights had the final say with their fifth goal in an encounter of end-to-end football that would surely have yielded many more goals but for the excellent efforts of both goal keepers with William Hellier for Seaton, and his opposite number, busy throughout the match!
