Iconic Manchester United mascot 'Fred the Red' is set to be in Honiton on Tuesday, August 26 when he spends much of the day at the Britannia Building Society at 131, High Street.

There's a full day of entertainment taking place with the United mascot as the central attraction.

Fred will be present from 10am until 4pm and there will be plenty of opportunities for photographs to be taken with him.

There will be various competitions, including a penalty shoot out and a quiz which will carry, as a prize, a club pennant signed by the Manchester United players. The day is designed to also help raise money for Alzheimer's, one of many forms of dementia that effect so many people.
