Millwey Rise continued their fine start to life in the Fresha League with a 4-1 win at Dunkeswell Rovers.

The opening goal arrived in the 10th minute when Levi Hoole added to his growing tally this season with a header from a corner.

The lead was doubled on the half hour with Mark Pike providing the assist for another Hoole goal.

Just before the break Hoole completed a first half hat-trick to send Millwey into the break three goals to the good.

An early second half goal gave the home side hope and there followed a period of play with chance sat both ends. However, no further goals came until the 70th minute when Hoole struck once more to net his fourth and complete the scoring.

Meanwhile Millwey Rise Reserves were edged out by the odd goal in three at home to high-flying Newton Poppleford Reserves.

This weekend the Reserves travel to Witheridge. The first team entertain Silverton.
