Millwey Rise Reserves see off Feniton thirds

Millwey Rise Reserves defeated Feniton thirds in a hard-fought match played out on a heavy pitch with a strong wind making play even more difficult, writes Dick Sturch.

Joel Seward scored twice and player-boss Dan Murnane also struck.

Feniton did get the ball into the net, but the final outcome was the result of a good all-round team display from a Millwey team that suffered several late withdrawals due to first team call ups.

Next up for the Reserves is Saturdays short trip ‘over the hedge’ to Tiger Way to take on table-topping Axminster thirds (2.15pm).
